International Finance Corporation

International Finance Corporation (IFC) represents the biggest international financial institution of the World Bank Group, established in 1956 and owned in 184 member countries.  

The IFC’s activity is oriented towards supporting the private sector in over 100 states with a view to creating work places, generating revenue in the budget, implementing innovations and increasing performance in the environment field. The loan portfolio by the end of 2013 equates to over 50 billion USD, granted to projects involving approximately 2000 enterprises from 126 countries.  

Mobiasbanca started its cooperation with IFC in 2006, when a loan agreement on crediting the SMEs sector and joining the Trade Facilitation Program was signed.
