On November 24 at the Business League Gala, the OTP Bank team was awarded the Fair Play Team trophies, the Award for the best goalkeeper of the season in League 2 for Andrei Macoviiciuc and the Partner Award.
The 19 players had an intense season facing off tough competition in the field. However, the team achieved its goal of moving up in the rankings by two positions, ending the championship in 4th place. Asked about the winning strategy, captain Radu Jechiu, Chief of Human Resources Department, OTP Bank mentioned: "We focused on three main directions, preparation, tactics game and team spirit. Additional training helped us to be more resistant to the physical pressures of the game, developed tactics and good communication - to react quickly to any situation on the field. We had strong opponents to improve on, and we are certainly ready for even better results next year."
